Felicia Yvette is a makeup artist, spiritual life coach, meditation teacher, holistic living advocate, and homeschool teacher who comes from the DMV by way of Indiana. She is also a loving mom of a beautiful daughter named Alaia and a personal friend of mine. Felicia is the author of the soon-to-be-released book, Peaceful Pause, Rest Reimagined: A Holistic Way to Look at Rest, which will be out on February 2, 2024. In this book, Felicia guides readers to explore the various aspects of rest (I.e. physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and more). She reveals her wisdom, experiences, and advice on how to incorporate rest into your life in a significant and intentional way throughout.

As someone who suffers from anxiety and panic disorder, I was fascinated by the exercises, personal stories, words of encouragement, and the teal blue hues throughout the book. Teal represents peace and rejuvenation, and Felicia did a wonderful job of picking it for Peaceful Pause.
