Everyone is created differently. One thing that sets me apart is my lazy eye (amblyopia). I struggled with shyness, often avoiding eye contact due to my condition as a child. I learned about the blessings within me as a became an adult. My mom told me that I suffered from seizures as an infant, and one of them weakened my retina and almost took my eyesight. God intervened however in, using my grandmother's loving touch to heal me from my seizures and preserve my eyesight. My lazy eye resultantly became a beautiful reminder of God's blessings in my life. Now, I'm no longer shy about it, I instead embrace it as a testament to my own unique beauty.
