Large retailers (e.g. Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, etc) and publishers (e.g. Random House, Harper Collins, etc) infer that it’s difficult to find quality books that are written by black authors and other minorities. Well that’s simply untrue and unequivocally incorrect.
My good friend and fellow author, Kim C. Lee has dispelled that antiquated myth in creating a list of award winning and other highly reputable black authors. This list includes my daughter Haelee, myself, and others that have been featured in this particular space. In other words, WE’RE RIGHT HERE (push play).
