Words For The Soul Book Club connects with the community through reading. The founder, Tracey Robinson, has a soft spot for independent authors. She affectionately calls them #FeatThaUnknown (Featuring The Unknown). Tracey hosted a virtual book fair on April 3, 2021. The purpose of it was to help raise $1,000 in funds for underprivileged children in Detroit, MI for the effect of increasing their literacy. She invited Haelee and two other kid authors (Karter Johnson and Ka'Maya Shanelle) to speak during the event. The interview has been broken up into three segments so as to afford each one of the children equal screen time.
Haelee is the 13-year-old author of The Rules of a Big Boss: A book of self-love. This book is a manual for young and adult women to achieve higher levels of self-esteem. She's also the CEO and Founder of The Rules of a Big Boss LLC. You can watch Haelee's segment by going here.

Karter is the 9-year-old author of The Science Behind It. This book is a collection of stories that highlight the benefit of starting a business young. It conveys how children can start a business without the fear, setbacks, and doubt many adult CEO’s deal with. You can watch Karter's segment by going here.
Ka'Maya is the 6-year-old author of I Love Myself: A Coloring and Activity Book with Self-Love Affirmations. This book is a fun and creative coloring and activity book created to nurture young children’s creativity and confidence. You can watch Ka'Maya's segment by going here.
The children have raised $345 towards their goal of $1,000 thus far. They are subsequently still accepting donations. Would you please consider making a donation of any amount to this worthwhile cause? You can do so via GoFundMe by clicking here.
If you have made it this far, thank you for supporting the kid authors and their worthwhile cause.
