Pushing Through Fear

September 29th is only three days away. I’ll be feeding the homeless and taking the stage with my team at our passion project called Empowerment Unleashed.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t afraid. Despite my team’s reassurance, there are moments when I still wrestle with the belief that my voice matters especially in today’s sociopolitical climate. And this time, we’re opening the doors to the general public. It’s no longer a protected environment; it’s a bigger stage with a broader audience.

Yet, fear and vulnerability are exactly why I know I need to do it. Resilience is built when we step forward even while shaking.

I’m deeply grateful to ABC11 for posting our event on their community calendars and helping us reach more people. Their support reinforces that what we’re building together matters.
