Meet the Author - Markeeter Knox

Markeeter E. Knox has been seen on CN2 News. She is a wife, mother, and educator. Markeeter is a philanthropist, champion of diverse communities, mentor, and a veteran of the US Air Force. Her mission is to ensure that all children feel like they are loved particularly young ladies. Markeeter wants them to know that they are unique, special, loved, and that they matter. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, arts and crafts, writing, reading, and volunteering. Markeeter is the author of the recently released children’s book, I Scream You Scream: We All Learn About Ice Cream where her 6-year-old daughter, Trinity is the co-author. This vibrant and fun-loving book is published by The Rules of a Big Boss where my 15-year-old daughter, Haelee Moone is the founder and I’m the editor.

Markeeter has partnered with the York County Library system to put on a workshop. My understanding is that this will be the first in a series of them. Participants will have an opportunity to meet Markeeter and Trinity first hand. They’ll also get to participate in a special story time which includes free gifts, and more. Haelee and I unfortunately won’t be able to make it out due to another commitment but we have no doubt that this will be a fun loving event for children and families. We’re crossing our fingers that we might be able to participate via Zoom or Google Meet.
