Something magical happened on April 22, 2022 following my daughter, Haelee’s visit to Rock Hill Virtual Academy. Markeeter Knox, Kindergarten Teacher, Rock Hill Virtual Academy reached out to me and told me that she wants to write two books. One of them would be her memoir and the other would be a children’s book. The children’s book would be for biracial children and diverse populations.
But not only that, she shared that her 6 year old princess, Trinity was inspired by Haelee and that she wants to write a book as well. On that note, she asked if Haelee and I would be able and willing to help Trinity write her book as well. I told her that I’d be honored to help her and her princess as I requested copies of their manuscripts. I loved them both so I put them in contact with my illustrator, Arsalan Khan so that he could give us a price quote. The quote was accepted so now we’re in the lab putting the final touches on their manuscripts.

Oh yeah and Mrs. Knox said that she believed that I’d be a great asset to organizations in the Rock Hill, SC community hence she put me in contact with the Boys and Girls Club, Social Services, and a couple of parenting organizations too.
