My daughter, Haelee told me on August 10, 2022 that she wanted to do more workshops like she did with Durham County Library on June 10, 2022. I told her that I’d help her develop a proposal that we’d then send to Charlotte Mecklenburg County, Greensboro, and Alamance County Libraries since I have roots there. We submitted the proposals on August 15, 2022 and thought nothing of it. I mean if it was meant to be it would be and if then then it wouldn’t be at this moment.
Well Eric Hartman, Adult Services Librarian, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library said that it was meant to be on September 9, 2022. He specifically said:
