Markeeter E. Knox will release her first ever book, I Scream You Scream: We All Learn About Ice Cream on July 23, 2022. She wrote it in concert with her 6-year-old daughter, Trinity Z. Ellison. Readers will join them on a fun adventure in learning how multicultural children fit into this diverse world.
This book, published by The Rules of a Big Boss LLC will officially launch at Two Scoops Creamery in Rock Hill South Carolina. Renee O'Neil of CN2 News covered her in a story yesterday as a prelude to her upcoming release. You can catch the replay of that interview by going here.
For those of you that don't know Markeeter, she is a wife, mother, and educator. She’s a philanthropist, champion of diverse communities, mentor, and a veteran of the US Air Force. Markeeter’s mission is to ensure that all children feel like they are loved particularly young ladies.
Trinity is a six year old prodigy. She is the eldest daughter of Markeeter and her husband, Wydruis Knox. Trinity loves playing dress up, swimming, reading, arts and crafts, and playing with her friends and baby sister. She especially loves writing and using her imagination.
As for Two Scoops, it is locally owned and operated by Hunter and Jennifer Stephens. The Stephens family decided to pivot careers when Covid struck in 2020. Hunter and Jennifer did so by partnering with their favorite ice cream and coffee brands, Two Scoops and Enderly Coffee. Two Scoops and Enderly are both headquartered out of Charlotte, NC respectively. At any rate, the Stephens family successfully opened the doors to Two Scoops, Rock Hill in January of 2021. They did so with a goal of bringing happiness to the community through ice cream and coffee. Two Scoops operational ethos is to be as authentic as their neighborhood hence the Stephens family is ecstatic to support a local author and teacher in building her dream.
I would like to personally thank the Stephens family for not only espousing but living up to their ethos. And finally I look forward to trying all of the flavors that my stomach can bear during the book launch. I hope that those of you that are reading this will meet all of us there.
